Metal flues manufacturer Schiedel Rite-Vent and Vimto producer Nichols Food are to provide a Sage-sponsored business intelligence learning stream at the Best of British Manufacturing IT conference on 26 September at Haydock Park.
They join 20 other manufacturers – including Stadco, Lotus, Bentley, Red Bull Racing (formerly Jaguar Racing), Cadbury Schweppes, Diageo, Sony, Stannah Lifts, Worldmark, Unipart and Deltron-Emcon – in the remaining eight streams.
Delegates can choose any five presentations and hear successful manufacturers’ real lean business improvement stories. These specifically look at the roles of better business processes enabled or underpinned by IT across manufacturing, engineering development, supply chain and operations, with plenty of opportunity for Q&A and in-depth discussion.
Organiser Findlay Publications says the event has been designed for operations directors and directors and managers of finance, IT, production, purchasing and design – manufacturing business management teams wanting real advice on how to drive maximum sustainable business improvement.
Other session streams provided on the day are: automotive, automotive supply, parts & components manufacturing, process industries, project engineering, electronics & high tech, electro-mechanical industry and configure-to-order manufacturing.
Delegates will also witness the presentation of the Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards for excellence on the day. The Awards ceremony takes place during the lunch period in the main hall.
