CBE for EEF chief executive

Terry Scuoler, chief executive of EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, has been awarded with a CBE for services to industry in the Queen’s birthday honours.

Mr Scuoler has headed EEF for over seven years, and also acts as chairman of the European manufacturers’ group CEEMET. He works closely with government and business to create a positive environment for UK manufacturing.

“I am enormously proud to receive this honour, particularly has the citation is for services to manufacturing and engineering,” he said. “It is an enormous privilege to represent manufacturing in the UK, which remains core to the country’s economic success.”
