Infor acquires RSVP Business Systems quality software
Manufacturing business software conglomerate Infor has acquired several new product lines from partner RSVP Business Systems, which specialises in service and quality management.
The acquisition primarily includes Quality Control Solution, which helps manufacturers track, control and manage quality throughout receiving, production and shipping.
Infor says that prospective manufacturing customers can look forward to closer alignment of RSVP and their existing Infor software.
Indeed, since it was built using Infor's Mongoose development toolset, it is immediately compatible with Infor10 ERP Business (Syteline) and other Infor applications.
In a little detail, QCS was designed for manufacturers through quality incidents, change management, responses to audit findings, machine and maintenance issues, safety, training, and continuous improvements.
Infor says it intends to deliver significant product enhancements and to integrate the new QCS products with a number of core Infor platforms, providing even greater synergies between the QCS product and existing Infor product offerings.
