MCP Consulting presented with Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Solihull-based business consultancy, MCP Consulting, were awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade during a celebratory two-day event held in Coventry.

The Awards celebrate outstanding achievement by UK businesses in categories including innovation, international trade and sustainable development. MCP were recognised for their rapid growth in the past 12 months. The company now have a presence in 50 countries worldwide, across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The award was presented to MCP by Colonel George Marsh TD, Vice Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands and HM The Queen’s representative, during a three-course dinner at Ansty Hall. Guests had flown in from across the world to be there to offer their support and congratulations to the MCP team. Also at the dinner, Peter Gagg, CEO of MCP, was presented with a special award by Dubai Airports.

On the second day, MCP held a ‘Be World-Class’ event at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). The MTC develops innovative manufacturing processes in partnership with industry and academia. It complements the activities of MCP and its clients, and delegates were given the opportunity to tour the MTC’s R&D department and state-of-the-art virtual reality ‘cave’.

Many of MCP’s most valued clients, including Dubai Airports, British Sugar and William Grant & Sons shared their case studies to demonstrate how MCP have helped transform their businesses.

Commenting on the success of the event, Peter Gagg gave his thanks to “the MCP team for all the hard work and making it happen”. Other attendees praised the event, calling it “informative and enjoyable” and “a really fitting celebration”.
