Sage UK enters upper mid market with launch of Sage ERP X3

Key points, according to Scott, include ease of customisation and web-native code, as well as low total cost of ownership. It also has a range of multi-platform desktop client and web-based deployment combinations, harnessing Oracle or Microsoft SQL server databases. Scope includes finance, sales, CRM, inventory management, purchasing and manufacturing. Scott says that, thanks to its intuitive user-friendly interface based on Sage Visual Processes, embedded business intelligence and integrated CRM functionality, Sage ERP X3 provides "a rich user experience that improves collaboration and increases business insight, whilst reducing the costs and complexities of integrating operations across multiple territories".
