A sales, marketing and service desk suite of CRM (customer relationship management) applications has been added to SSA Global Technologies’ BPCS ERP suite following an agreement with CRM and business intelligence analytics software developer Applix. BPCS CRM is to be integrated with BPCS CD, v6.1 and the new v8, and the company says it will also be available as an additional cost option for other BPCS versions. Languages covered include English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. SSA GT says it will enable companies to track and co-ordinate sales, marketing and help desk and customer service activities with web-based functionality, mine their customer database and achieve a streamlined, collaborative business environment. The firm also says its solution has been specifically developed for mid-market companies. “CRM solutions give companies the ability to increase operational efficiency and realise additional cost savings and revenue growth,” says Alan Goldsworthy, president and CEO of Applix. “By integrating its ERP solution with Applix’s CRM solution, SSA GT is delivering a powerful solution that enables its customers to be more responsive to a rapidly changing marketplace.”
