Avon Rubber says it expects its Sage ERP X3 implementation eventually to streamline its business processes and integrate financial and commercial operations globally.

Peter Slabbert, CEO of Avon Rubber, believes that it will drive efficiency, improve collaboration and increase business insight as this manufacturer continues to expand. He explains that, when complete, it will provide operational control across manufacturing, distribution, sales and service throughout the USA, Europe and Asia, as well as providing localised and consolidated corporate financial reporting. "The conclusion of our selection process and the implementation of Sage ERP X3 kicks off one of the most important projects for Avon in this financial year and beyond," states Slabbert. "[It will] consolidate and centralise our management systems," he adds. Sage ERP X3 specialist business partner Inixion will provide consultancy, implementation and professional services to Avon, manage the project and provide support for the solution. "Inixion demonstrated unrivalled expertise with Sage ERP X3 coupled with a unique and deep understanding of our business requirements, and we are confident the project will be transformative for our business as we continue to accelerate our footprint worldwide," comments Slabbert. "The contract award was the next logical step for all parties, following a process over the past few months of a growing relationship at all levels between Inixion and Avon," says Ian Bromley, managing director of Inixion. "[That] facilitated our understanding of their requirements and allowed us jointly to map how we can utilise both the functionality of Sage ERP X3 and the knowledge and experience of the Inixion team," he adds. Slabbert confirms that Sage ERP X3 was selected ahead of other solutions following a comprehensive tender process. The circa 450-user solution will provide a central hub for Avon Rubber business critical information across multiple business functions, territories and departments.
