Bloodhound project appoints safety gear supplier

The safety company Arco has been appointed as the exclusive supplier of personal protective equipment, footwear and workwear to the Bloodhound support team that will design, build and race a car to raise the world land speed record to over 1,000mph.

Arco will be providing product and safety expertise to project leader Richard Noble and driver Andy Green's support team to enable them to work safely using some of the most innovative products developed by the world's leading brands. Arco's joint managing director Nick Hildyard, said: "We are proud to be associated with one of this century's greatest engineering adventures.
