Boeing extends its Dassault Systèmes PLM deployment

Boeing has signed a five-year extension contract on its PLM (product lifecycle management) software implementation across Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

Boeing's 'Working Together partnership with Dassault Systèmes began more than 25 years ago and is credited with supporting "numerous breakthroughs" for the aerospace engineering giant. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with Dassault Systèmes to create and leverage new innovations that will enhance our product design and manufacturing capabilities," comments Nancy Bailey, Boeing vice president of IT. It's common knowledge ethat Boeing has heavily influenced the evolution of Dassault Systèmes' strategy, from 3D Design to DMU (digital mockup) and PLM – and now also its 3D Experience.
