Business intelligence guru to join first MCS IT Forum

1 min read

Nigel Pendse, lead author of The OLAP Report and The OLAP Survey, is joining the panel of experts at the first Manufacturing Computer Solutions members’ Forum on business intelligence.

Being staged at the Gaydon Heritage Motor Museum on Wednesday 4 February, the event will bring together industry experts, users that have walked the walk and project teams concerned with implementing, rolling out or revitalising their IT systems. Pendse is an acknowledged expert and speaker on business intelligence and business performance management, and joins a panel of manufacturing business IT specialists that includes Chris McKellen of Manufacturing Awareness, Graham Leake of GEL Consulting, Rod Clarke of the RCL Partnership and John Tripp of ToC/Goldratt. Under the direction of technology editor Brian Tinham, this interactive half-day event is due to provide opportunities for discussion, advice and guidance for Forum members. Applications for free membership of the Forum are still open to operations directors, finance directors and those responsible for IT in manufacturing businesses. There are also still limited places at the event on 4 February. This club is not about sales presentations: it is about raising issues, sharing and solving problems and networking with like-minded senior and experienced people.
