Call for UK suppliers to apply to join Siemens supply chain before 28 April.

Following its announcement to invest £80 million to develop an offshore wind turbine production facility in the UK, Siemens Wind Power is looking for UK suppliers to become a part of its supply chain.

UK Renewables Service, part of the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), is working with Siemens to organise a sourcing event on the 17 June in Rotherham to meet UK suppliers able to feed into its global supply chain with a special focus on the UK/offshore wind market. The event will feature presentations from key procurement managers from Siemens Wind Power followed by one-to-one meetings with potential suppliers.
