Cranfield announces MBAs to celebrate London 2012 Olympics

Cranfield School of Management has launched a series of MBA scholarships to celebrate the London 2012 Olympics.

Twenty new scholarships, worth £12,000 each, will be available to eligible applicants for the Cranfield MBA programme from September 2012. David Simmons, executive director of the full-time MBA at Cranfield commented: "The eyes of the world will be on the London Olympics, and we hope that our scholarships that honour London 2012 will attract the eyes of the most talented MBA applicants from across the world." He added: "We want to provide as much assistance as we can in these challenging times and open up access to the Cranfield MBA to talented people from all over the world who are aspiring to be a future business leader or leading entrepreneur." Alumni support has been critical to the launch of the London 2012 MBA scholarships Cranfield added. Former students include John McFarlane, former CEO of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group; Bill Thomas, former executive vice president of EDS and Antony Jenkins, chief executive Retail & Business Banking for Barclays.
