Infor ramps up IBM iSeries collaboration and support
Manufacturing ERP conglomerate Infor says it’s ramping up its support for the more than 15,000 customers currently running on IBM iSeries sysetems.
It’s setting up a global organisation linking eight development labs, headed by former IBM executive Mark Wright, to look after product development, facilitate better technology collaboration between Infor and IBM and improve support.
Greg Corgan, president, global field operations and corporate senior vice president at Infor, comments that users of infor systems on iSeries will also gain access to new capabilities through Infor Open SOA – with, for example, the Infor MyDay Web 2.0 personalised home page portal.
