Hundreds of Infor's MP2 manufacturing asset management system users have taken advantage of Infor's automated migration path to Infor EAM for improved performance, according to the company.

New users include Maritz, Brewster Cheese, Jamaica Energy and Virginia International Terminals, and all indicate that they have been able to configure personalised business processes, screens and dashboards to improve system use and productivity. "With Infor EAM Enterprise Edition we have achieved a 30% cost savings in our inventory," says Bill Wright, supervisor, building engineering at Maritz. "We rarely run low on parts, thanks to the integrated Infor EAM iProcure advanced module," he adds. Wright also says that the upgrade was easy. "Infor Consulting Services transferred all of our equipment and inventory data, and we were up and running very quickly," he explains. "Recent economic times have put increased pressure on companies to reduce costs to increase profitability," comments John Murphy, director, EAM solution marketing at Infor. "Infor has developed a programme to help our MP2 customers cost effectively upgrade to Infor EAM to monitor and manage the deployment, performance, and maintenance of company assets."
