Manufacturing managers will have an exclusive opportunity to see award winning kaizen in action at the plants as part of a stellar WMMC programme. Tours include JLR'S Castle Bromwich site, which has gone from potential closure to creating 1,100 new jobs thanks to a gemba inspired CI programme. Triumph Motorcycles, Hinckley will reveal how a rigorous commitment to manufacturing excellence has helped the firm expand its range of award winning bikes. And Siemens Magnet Technology, Witney- which has just been shortlisted for the 2012 Best Factory Awards-will detail the change programme that has save over 7,500 hours in production time since 2009. The factory tours compliment a heavyweight speaker line up at WMMC on 14-15 November at Chesford Grange, nr Warwick.
