Microsoft will discuss smart factories as part of a stellar two-day conference programme at the inaugural Manufacturing Management Show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 23-24 November 2016.

Microsoft is the latest big name to be confirmed for the Manufacturing Management Show, which combines conference, exhibition and workshops that cover all aspects of running a successful site.

Practical applications for the Internet of Things in manufacturing will be the subject for Microsoft technical solutions specialist, Phillip Watson.

Microsoft will deliver a session on how AI, big data and augmented reality find practical applications in modern factories.

The computing giant provides factory technology designed to bolster profitability and quality in manufacturing sites worldwide.

The two-day Manufacturing Management Show will feature 14 conference sessions spread across topics including CI/leadership, maintenance, skills & training, manufacturing technology and employment law. All sessions will offer practical, business-focused advice you can take back to your site and apply. The full speaker line up will be confirmed over the coming months.

The show has already attracted headline sponsorship from Toyota Material Handling, Brammer, Buck & Hickman, RS Components and skills & training provider JTJ Workplace Solutions.

The emphasis is on achieving best practice in all aspects of your business and the event marks the first time a manufacturing trade show has brought together all elements under one roof.
