1 min read

Do you have vacancies in your business to fill or want to attract some young apprentice talent into your company? Then why not sign up for the second National Manufacturing Day (NMD) on Thursday 28 September 2023 to showcase the amazing opportunities you have on offer.

The initiative is being led by the industry trade body Make UK, and the whole manufacturing sector is invited to participate. It will be a national celebration of UK manufacturing and a chance for manufacturers up and down the country to open their doors to demonstrate the exciting and well-paid jobs across this vibrant sector.

It’s really simple to sign up – Get Involved | NMD 2023 (nationalmanufacturingday.org)

All we need is your company name, a simple description of what you do and a contact email – we can help you work out the details of the event in the coming weeks. There are plenty resources and ideas on our website to help with planning. Find out more here: www.makeuk.org/nmd or email us on nmd@makeuk.org to arrange a call to speak to the team directly.

Make UK, which represents over 20,000 manufacturing companies across the whole of the UK, has partnered with the Department for Education which will publicise the events in all schools, colleges and training centres – the events are easy to find using the postcode finder on our dedicated website. The Department for Work and Pensions will also display the events in all job centres, while working with companies to arrange bespoke interviews on the day for specific vacancies companies may have.
