Semta Skills Awards backed by big brands

The hunt is on to find the best of British engineering to be celebrated at the second Semta Skills Awards to be held on 24 February 2015 at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel, London.

The awards, organised by Semta, which is 'Engineering Skills for the Future', are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of people, businesses and training partners across the sector. Sarah Sillars OBE, CEO of Semta said: "Industry has told us the Semta Skills Awards are fast becoming one of the most important events in the skills calendar. British Engineers are the best in the World – and Semta helps showcase their talents to industry and the wider world." Siemens, Atkins, BAE Systems, Marshall, Pera Training, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar Land Rover are the principal sponsors of the event. There are seven categories – Apprentice; Higher Apprentice; Graduate; Skills Champion; Skills Innovation; Training Partner, and SME Investment in Skills.
