Three manufacturers make British Safety Council awards final
Only a handful of manufacturing companies featured among the 59 UK and international companies announced as this year's British Safety Council Sword and Globe of Honour winners.
Building Adhesives, Tata Chemicals and United Biscuits will represent the sector at the safety awards.
The award schemes are part of the international health and safety charity's drive to acknowledge and celebrate exemplary health, safety and environmental management in the workplace.
Organisations that achieved the maximum five-star rating in the British Safety Council occupational health and safety audit or environmental audit at one or more of their sites were invited to apply.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony at Goldsmiths' Hall, London next month.
