Valves manufacturer wins NASA order

Cheshire valve manufacturer, Oliver Valves, has been awarded an order to supply NASA with Gauge Bleed Instrument Valves.

This is the first order Oliver Valves have secured with NASA. The company has said it is “extremely excited to be involved in such a project that is so prestigious to the company.”

Oliver’s carried out training at their North American master distributor’s Florida HQ. Following the training, the Oliver distributor had initial meetings with NASA where they were given an opportunity to present to NASA’s base maintenance group, SpaceX and United Launch Alliance. Both SpaceX and ULA are remodelling their Moon and Mars mobile launch platforms.

This is the series of events that secured the NASA business.

At NASA, Gauge Bleed Instrument Valves are for use on Nitrogen Gas lines that will run all over the Kennedy Space Centre and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
