Brammer Buck & Hickman, UK supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, has won a new contract to establish an Insite at Arconic Engines in Darley Dale, UK.

Arconic are known for producing world-class aero engines and industrial gas turbine components, as well as airfoils, rings, disks and forgings. Arconic Engines excels in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable the next-generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.

Brammer Buck & Hickman has been working with Arconic Engines since 2003 and has now won a new contract to establish an Insite at its Derbyshire location. Insite delivers all the benefits of a Brammer Buck & Hickman branch, with a dedicated and experienced resource, but in the heart of a customer’s facility. This service is designed to provide high levels of customer service and cost savings through reducing total acquisition costs, improving production efficiency and reducing working capital.

This latest Insite follows on from Insites at other Arconic locations such as Exeter, Kitts Green and Sheffield, where the quality of service and outstanding partnership has impressed the company. Brammer Buck & Hickman is also providing Arconic Engines with a range of engineering services via its centres throughout the UK.

Moving forward, Brammer Buck & Hickman and Arconic Engines are looking to focus on inventory identification, counting and reviewing as well as addressing Arconic Engines’ replenishment methods.
