MacFarlane Packaging, the Glasgow-based plastics and packaging company, has signed a contract worth £3 million with the IBS UK, the enterprise software vendor, for its ERP (enterprise resource planning) system. The ERP software will help integrate MacFarlane’s order fulfillment process and will provide e-commerce facilities and full supply chain management. Graham Casey, md of MacFarlane, commented on the deal: “The IBS [ERP] system will allow us to deliver seamless solutions to our customers and maximise efficiency. “IBS has already implemented their software on time and within budget at our recent acquisition, National Packaging.
