Russian accelerator looks for international startups

Corporate Accelerator GenerationS and Lenta, one of the largest retail chains in Russia, has launched a call for international startups in the USA, Europe, Israel, China and South Korea.

The main goal is to find mature technology solutions for optimizing the retailer's business in marketing, operations, logistics and supply chain management, as well as HR areas.

The main requirements for the startups in order to apply are a legal entity, a team of not less than 2 people and first sales, or successfully implemented pilot projects in the field of retail. Additionally, teams have to be ready to pilot their projects in Russia. Among the priority areas of the call, in particular, are technologies that increase the operational efficiency of the entire chain of commodity distribution, new services for customers, robotics technologies and solutions for cleaning sales areas, personalized food, new types of ecological biodegradable packaging, video analytics solutions, resource-saving technologies, solutions for HR processes optimization, etc. Detailed information is available at accelerator’s landing page http://lenta.generation-startup.ru/

Startups can apply until November 08th. After that accelerator’s experts will select most promising projects, which will present their solutions at the pitch session to the management of Lenta. Based on the results of the pitch session, the best teams will get the opportunity not only to start paid pilots, but also the possibility of long-term cooperation both with the company itself and with other corporations of the Severgroup – an Investment Group which also includes Lenta.
