Oracle's latest release of its Business Intelligence Applications (Release 7.9.6) has now been certified for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP solution.

The announcement applies to EnterpriseOne Financial Management versions 8.11SP1, 8.12, and 9.0, and means that users can improve visibility across financial and management teams, in terms of, for example, receivables, payables, expenses and revenue contributions. It follows earlier certification for Oracle E-Business Suite (11i10 and R12), PeopleSoft Enterprise (8.9 and 9.0) and Oracle's Siebel CRM (8.0 and 8.1.1) – all with pre-built extract, transform and load (ETL) maps. Lenley Hensarling, group vice president and general manager for Oracle's JD Edwards business unit, explains that Oracle Financial Analytics (part of BI) delivers hundreds of KPIs and some 200 out-of-the-box reports to help finance managers improve cash flow, lower costs and increase profitability. "Beyond monitoring and analysing performance and processes, Oracle Financial Analytics will help JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management users affect changes and improvements. Today's news is an initial step in offering JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers a complete and integrated BI solution," says Hensarling. Oracle BI Applications modules are also now available for Procurement and Spend, Human Resources, Project, Supply Chain and Order Management, Sales, Service, Marketing, Loyalty, Price, Contact Centre Telephony, and a range of specialised industry analytics.
