Independent forklift truck dealer Rushlift has won a deal to supply JP Corry, Northern Ireland's largest builders merchant, with specialist equipment from forklift manufacturers Doosan and Combilift.

More than 40 Doosan and Combilift trucks have been supplied to 17 of JP Corry's branches. The 10-year contract has been tailored to reduce lifetime costs for JP Corry. Operations director Richard Whiteside said: "The Rushlift team has taken great care and diligence in putting together a package that is catered towards us getting maximum return on investments whilst reducing our operational costs." The introduction of the specialist four-way Combilift equipment will enable faster and increased productivity for JP Corry's business. The Combilift range is designed to handle long loads safely – the vehicles can travel sideways with the loads, resulting in less product damage, safer handling for staff and the potential to make considerable savings on space. The Doosan trucks are from the Pro-5 range. Rushlift has also supplied JP Corry with its online fleet management system, to give visibility of vehicle use across multiple sites.
