Bentley Motors will reveal how it has taken proactive steps to tackle the skills challenge as part of a stellar two-day conference programme at the all-new Manufacturing Management Show in Coventry on 23-24 November.

Bentley Motors is the latest big name to back the all-new Manufacturing Management show, which combines conference, exhibition and workshops across all areas of running a successful site.

Growing your own talent will be the topic for Bentley Motor’s Tom Russell- senior development officer for future talent at the Crewe-based luxury car maker.

Russell will deliver a case study on how Bentley Motors has pioneered a manufacturing apprenticeship programme.

Bentley Motors, which recruited more than 60 apprentices last year, ensures recruits are extensively trained with crucial skills in mechatronics, leather, wood and paint.

The two-day Manufacturing Management Show will feature 14 conference sessions spread across core manufacturing topics including CI/leadership, maintenance, skills & training, manufacturing technology, employment law. All sessions will offer practical, business boosting advice you can take back to your site and try. Full speaker details will be announced over the coming months.

The Manufacturing Management Show has attracted headline sponsorship from Toyota Material Handling, Brammer, Buck & Hickman, RS Components and skills and training provider, JTJ Workplace Solutions.

The emphasis is on achieving best practice in all aspects of your business and the show marks the first time a manufacturing trade show has brought together all elements of site management under one roof.
