Franks Ice Cream goes for Opera 3 for expansion

Franks commercial director Renaldo Dallavalle says the system will be used for all of the firm's financial management and payroll requirements, including production of monthly management accounts. Dallavalle explains that, with a rapidly growing customer base and ambitious growth plans, Franks Ice Cream needed a finance solution that would scale up, as the company expands. "Having used software from Pegasus for many years, we still believe that it is the best solution on the market for SMEs," state Dallavalle. "Opera 3 is integrated, easy to use and enables us to produce our monthly management accounts quickly and easily. As our business expands, it is [essential] that we have an accounting system that we can rely on 100%, so that we can focus on growing the business and increasing our profitability." Commenting on Pegasus XRL reporting, he explains that the tool analyses, manipulates and reports using the familiar Excel interface. Reports created can be saved and will refresh instantly, providing access to live data. Working with Pegasus partner Gower Business Systems, Franks Ice Cream went live with Opera 3 in June 2011.
