Ex-Premier League referee Graham Poll has been named as the guest speaker for this year's Works Management Manufacturing Conference (WMMC) on 20 and 21 November at Cranage Hall, Cheshire.

Poll will offer his footballing anecdotes at the WMMC Conference dinner including the infamous World Cup game where he booked a player three times but failed to send him off. Poll joins delegates at the WMMC event, which aims to show manufacturers how to deliver a world-class continuous improvement programme. From the worst insult he's ever received from a player to whose the worst diver- Poll will be available for an exclusive Q&A during the conference dinner. WMMC will offer delegates an action packed two days of continuous improvement advice. The event includes case study advice from companies including BAE Sytems and Siemens on how to win shopfloor support for change programmes. WMMC also offer the chance to tour one of five outstanding local factories including Jaguar Halewood, Airbus Broughton, Vauxhall Ellesmere Port, Siemens Congleton and Quinn Glass Elton. And finally delegates can experience how to put the theory into practice with a revamped workshop emphasising interactive learning. Lego games, have a go activities and professional show dogs will be employed to make you a better manager. Tour places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
