RS Components to headline inaugural Manufacturing Management Show

Global engineering distributor, RS Components is headlining the upcoming Manufacturing Management Show at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 23-24 November.

RS will be using the event to showcase its ground-breaking RS Live experience. The stand, which is being hosted on the show floor in a 21.8m articulated truck, features six interactive zones: design, build, maintain, store, RS Pro and purchase. Visitors will be able to interact with the latest technology in areas including the Internet of Things, 3D printing, robotics and health & safety.

The company will also be hosting two workshops at the event, exploring how digital is driving purchasing efficiency in the fourth industrial revolution. The workshops will be held at 11.15am on both the 23 and 24 November in Workshop 3.

Del Tiwana, industry sector manager for process industry at RS Components, said: “We will be talking to visitors about their challenges and how RS can partner and help them. We understand the pressures on their budgets and the importance of workplace safety, and can highlight where hidden process costs could be impacting their budgets.”

This year marks the first edition of the Manufacturing Management Show. It is looking to target manufacturing managers, arming them with everything they need to know about running a successful manufacturing site. As well as the exhibition and workshops, the show will feature keynote speakers from major manufacturers including Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota Material Handling.
