Arco buys into safety services
Safety product and workwear supplier Arco has acquired ARC Associates UK, a consultancy business, in a move which will enable the equipment supplier to extend its services offer to UK industry.
ARC provides health, safety and environmental services to businesses in the private and public sector, include BAE Systems, Howdens Joinery, Veolia and Hull City Council. The business has been merged with Arco's existing safety management services division to create a new operation called ARC Safety Services.
Arco's sales and marketing director Neil Jowsey said: "Through the acquisition of ARC and the formation of ARC Safety Services, we strengthen our position within the health and safety sector as a true expert in safety." Recruitment is underway for qualified consultants to join the team.
