GKN Driveline will discuss how a commitment to continuous improvement and employee engagement has led to it delivering parts for some of the country’s top automotive manufacturers at the Manufacturing Management Conference at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire on 15-16 June.

The automotive supplier will join the superb speaker line-up for the two-day conference, which will encompass the key elements of successful manufacturing management - safety, maintenance and continuous improvement – via three dedicated streams.

Neil Geldard-Williams, plant director, GKN Driveline, Erdington, will lead the continuous improvement stream. He will discuss how continuous improvement and employee engagement is helping the firm to deliver parts for vehicles such as the new Range Rover Evoque at the requisite pace and to quality standards.

The session will discuss how visual management, line-side problem-solving and gearing teams towards eliminating waste is winning impressive productivity gains.

The Manufacturing Management Conference provides delegates with best practice learning, enabling them to deliver effective, long lasting, successful lean manufacturing programmes.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to put what they have heard into practice with an entertaining workshop programme.

Day two of the conference comprises a factory tour where attendees will see best-practice procedures in action and pick up tips to take away. Confirmed tours include Brita Water Filter Systems, GKN Driveline, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles and Weetabix.

Book your place before Friday, 20 May to benefit from the early bird rate of £595, which includes conference, dinner and accommodation.
