Top Continuous Improvement gurus will lead a coaching session on boosting the success of your improvement programmes at the WM Manufacturing Conference.
A panel including business leaders from GKN and Bombardier Aerospace will offer practical tips on turning around plant performance at WMMC at Chesford Grange on 14-15 November.
Advice on tackling shopfloor dissent and sustaining improvement beyond the first year will be on hand at the CI Surgery session.

Delegates will have the chance to quiz a panel comprising Neil Trivedi, responsible for the deployment of lean continuous improvement across GKN; Brain O'Hare CI lead at Bombardier Aerospace, Belfast; Jacques Dozo recently retired CEO of Carmeuse, Europe and Jarrod Dooley production manager at SDC Trailers.
The panel will deliver advice on:
-avoiding classic CI management mistakes like changing the goalposts or setting the wrong targets
-knowing which improvement tools to apply in which situation
-the best motivators for spurring shopfloor performance
-getting your directors on board
The CI Surgery session will be held at 11.30am on 14 November at WMMC. The conference will equip grassroots manufacturers with business boosting CI ideas.
WMMC includes a factory tour programme with visits to Jaguar Land Rover, Siemens and Triumph Motorcycle sites.
